“Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench the Spirit.” - 1 Thes 5:16-19

We are not helping God by doing the work of this ministry. Love Your Neighbor is God’s work, not ours. “It is God who is at work in us both to will and to work for His good pleasure!” (Phil 2:13) 

As a Board and as God’s people, we are committed to “pray without ceasing” and doing our Father’s business -- His way. We covenanted with the Lord not to let the world’s business practices infiltrate His work. We do not put our faith in marketing plans, growth charts, and statistical surveys to project the results of our fundraising efforts. Our heart’s desire is to keep this ministry holy, to keep doing it “God’s way.”

So when we say the GREATEST way to help us is through PRAYER, we mean it. We don’t want “your” money; we want God’s provision however He chooses to send it, for a work done by Him, through Him, and for Him.

Please pray that we faithfully present His vision for setting the captives free. Pray He will stir the spirits of His people in the Church to store up His kingdom treasure in heaven. Prayerfully consider the Adopt an Inmate Program. This allows individuals and church groups the opportunity to provide prayer partnership and material support for the students in our classes both within prison walls and in the Come As You Are aftercare group. 

I can promise we will not be disappointed on that resurrection day when Jesus says “well done” and we vividly see the fullness of His glory in these women’s lives. “When we all get to heaven what a day of rejoicing that will be, when we all see Jesus we’ll sing and shout the victory.”
